WATERFORD, CT — Police said Wednesday afternoon that Great Neck Road (Route 213) is closed from Deerfield Road to Goshen Road due to numerous power lines down in the area. All traffic is being diverted and residents are asked to stay in their homes if possible, police said.
Residents who need to get in or out are asked to please speak with the officers posted in the area, police said.
Police ask residents and travelers to treat all power lines as active until they are repaired by utility crews. This section of road may be closed for several hours, police said.
