Snowmobile Operator Missing After Falling Through Icy Pond
Emergency crews have been on the scene since Saturday night.

GRISWOLD, CT — A snowmobile operator is missing after falling through a pond after the ice collapsed Saturday night, according to reports. Emergency crews responded around 6 p.m. to the Patchaug Pond in Griswold, Fox 61 reports.
As of Sunday morning, the man is still missing. NBC Connecticut reports Sunday that emergency responders are now calling it a recovery mission and not a rescue anymore. Griswold is located in New London County.
