Tractor Trailer Driver Pleads Guilty In Deadly Waterford Crash

Court officials said a man has plead guilty in a Waterford highway crash that killed a woman's fiancé and her two children.

WATERFORD, CT - Court officials said a Massachusetts man has plead guilty in a Waterford highway crash that killed a woman's fiancé and her two children, the New London Day reported. The deadly incident occurred in October 2014 after the suspect's tractor trailer struck the back of 25-year old Baughnita Leary's car.

Court officials said Gerard S. Dube, 62, of Swansea, Mass., plead guilty Tuesday to charges of negligent homicide and reckless driving, according to the New London Day. He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 23.

Court officials said Leary was badly injured as a result of the crash, according to the New London Day. Her fiancé, 26-year old Darin Robinson, and her two children, 3-year-old Dacari and 9-year-old Sanaa, all died from their injuries, court officials said.
