Truck Catches Fire On I-95 In Waterford

WATERFORD, CT - Traffic was stalled Tuesday night on Interstate 95 as emergency crews worked to remove a tractor trailer from the highway that had caught fire, the New London Day reported. The incident occurred on I-95 northbound between exits 81 and 82.

State police said the fire was caused by a mechanical failure, according to the New London Day. No injuries were reported as a result of the incident, state police said.
