Waterford Cemetery Taking Part In Wreaths Across America
A Waterford cemetery will participate in the national "Wreaths Across America" ceremony this holiday season.

WATERFORD, CT - Jordan Cemetery in Waterford will host veterans and community members participating in the national "Wreaths Across America" ceremony on December 16 at 11 a.m., the New London Day reported. During the event, participants will lay wreaths on hundreds of veteran graves.
While one wreath can be purchased with a donation of $15, volunteers are able to purchase three wreaths for every $30 donated, according to the New London Day. Donations can be made up until Nov. 27.
More than 250 wreaths have already been purchased by volunteers using donations received thus far, the New London Day reported. The goal is to place 500 wreaths on the graves at Jordan Cemetery.
