Waterford Couple’s Fight Results in Stabbing

A child was determined by police to have also been present at the time.

WATERFORD, CT- A man was stabbed on Bloomingdale Road in the Quaker Hill section of town Monday, according to police.

Members of the Waterford Police Department responded along with the Waterford Fire Department close to 6:45 p.m. The resulting investigation revealed that a domestic disturbance had occurred between couple John Calamari, 29, and Jessica Calamari, 28.

Police determined that a child was present when the disturbance occurred, for which they were both charged. During the course of the incident, John Calamari received a stab wound to one of his arms.

He was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital for treatment of his injury. Both were held on bond, while the husband was released on a $10,000 non-surety bond.
