Waterford Crash Injures Woman and Police Detective: Report

Authorities said a police cruiser collided with another car, injuring both.

WATERFORD, CT – A two car crash Friday left two people injured and briefly closed Great Neck Road, according to The Day,

Police said a cruiser belonging to police Detective John Davis was involved in the crash, The Day reported. Davis collided with a car traveling the opposite was on Great Neck Road close to 1:30 p.m., injuring both of drivers.

Diane Schreier-Perkins and Davis were transported to a hospital for medical treatment, according to The Day. Police are still investigating the accident.
