Waterford Officials Begin Budget Proposals for Next Year
The town could also lose $1.5 million in state revenue if the governor's budget proposal is passed unchanged by the state legislature.

WATERFORD, CT - The Waterford Finance Board began budget deliberations this week, as reported by the New London Day.
The town passed five budget proposals without changes for 2017-2018 during their March 6 meeting, according to the New London Day. The board will consider proposals from other town departments at hearings throughout the rest of March.
Board officials warned that they were voting on proposed spending without knowledge of how much the town will be getting in state grants next year, the New London Day reported. The town could also lose $1.5 million in state revenue if Gov. Dannel P. Malloy's budget proposal is passed unchanged by the state legislature.
