Waterford Police to Host Tip-A-Cop for Special Olympics CT

at Filomena's Restaurant on Thursday, September 17th from 5 to 9 p.m

September 9, 2020 – Waterford police will host a Tip-A-Cop event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut at Filomena’s Restaurant on Thursday, September 17th from 5 to 9 p.m. Filomena’s restaurant is located at 262 Boston Post Road #1 in Waterford. Reservations are encouraged and may be made by calling the restaurant at (860) 437-1010. During the event, Waterford police officers will volunteer their time and assist restaurant staff in taking orders and serving customers. All tips the volunteers receive for their efforts will go to Special Olympics Connecticut to support its year-round sports, health and fitness programs for athletes of all abilities.

Tip-a-Cop is a Law Enforcement Torch Run event to benefit Special Olympics Connecticut.

The Law Enforcement Torch Run® for Special Olympics Connecticut is one of the movement's largest grass-roots fundraiser and public awareness vehicles.
