Waterford Police Hunting Man Wanted On Virginia Felony Warrant
Police say Myles Grillo, 25, fled from law enforcement during a traffic stop on Route 32 Thursday. Grillo is wanted on a Virginia warrant.
WATERFORD, CT—Police are hunting a man wanted on a felony warrant out of Virginia. According to a report in The Day, Waterford police said they stopped a car on Route 32 and discovered that passenger Myles Grillo, 25, was wanted by police. Grillo managed to get away from a police officer trying to detain him and took off and remains at large, police said.
In 2014, Grillo fled Ledyard Police, Connecticut State Police, and Mashantucket Tribal Police after crashing a vehicle into a stone wall. At the time, police discovered the vehicle was stolen from Virginia Beach, Va.
In 2012, when he was 18, Grillo and two others were charged by Virginia Beach police in connection with numerous larcenies from cars.

In the 2014 case, Ledyard Police officers arrested Grillo at the New London courthouse, on an arrest warrant related to the accident. He was charged with larceny in the third degree, by alleged possession for the stolen vehicle from Virginia and was also then charged with reckless driving, evading responsibility and operating without a license.
Grillo was arrested by the Groton Town Police on an outstanding arrest warrant that same year and in 205, was convicted in 2015 on a felony charge of assaulting a public safety officer, third-degree larceny and evading responsibility in connection with the crash of the stolen car, online court records show.
