Waterford Police Seek 2 Women Suspected Of Stealing $2,100: PD

Waterford police are asking for help identifying two women suspected of stealing more than $2,000 from a local Walmart.

WATERFORD, CT — Waterford police are asking for help identifying two women suspected of stealing more than $2,000 from a local Walmart. The incident occurred Saturday, November 11 at approximately 3:05 p.m., according to police.

Police said one of the suspects reached into a register and pulled out several $100 bills while the pair was refilling a gift card. As the cashier took back the money, the suspect concealed several other bills in her hand while the second suspect distracting the cashier, police said.

Police said the suspects stole $2,100 in cash.

The gift card they were refilling has shown past activity both at the store and a Walmart in Worcester, Mass., police said. Their vehicle may also have Massachusetts plates attached to it.
