Waterford Police Seek Suspected Hit and Run Culprit

Anyone with information is asked to contact police immediately.

WATERFORD, CT - Police are seeking a man who hit a car this month and left without providing his information.

At 6:05 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 19, a motor vehicle accident occurred on Route 32 north, just south of the I-395 Connector. According to police, a vehicle was rear-ended by a dark colored pickup truck which fled the scene and got onto I-395 North.

The driver was described as a white male in his late 20’s to early 30's.

Both drivers initially stopped on the side of Route 32. The operator of the truck stated the vehicle was his fathers, then left the scene of the accident without exchanging information.

The suspect vehicle was described as a dark colored 2011-2015 Ford F250, F350, F450, or F550 Super Duty. A piece of the front grill will be missing.
