The phones had reportedly been bound for merchants at the Crystal Mall.

WATERFORD, CT – A part time packaging center supervisor was arrested Tuesday on charges of stealing more than $35,000 worth of cellphones, The Day reported.
Ashley Baker, 29, was charged for the alleged thefts that occurred over numerous occasions in 2015, The Day reported. The phones had been bound for merchants at the Crystal Mall, worth an estimated $35,620.
The investigation stems from a complaint by the suspect’s employer in July 2015, The Day reported. The employer claimed to have video evidence of Baker removing boxes from delivery trucks.
