Waterford Will Send Out Bids to Repair Jordan Cove Bridge
The bridge was found to be in bad shape by a state Department of Transportation study in 2006.

WATERFORD, CT - The town is moving forward with repairs to the Jordan Cove Bridge, as reported by The Day.
The town will work to repair the 80-year old bridge over Jordan Cove by putting the project out to bid this month, according to The Day. The town’s Finance Committee approved a $1.5 million appropriation in regards to the project Wednesday.
The bridge was found to be in bad shape by a state Department of Transportation study in 2006, The Day reported. Officials hope that bids can go out in January and construction can begins in April.
