Morley Elementary School students will trek to Town Hall for the 7th annual Morley Backpack Brigade on Wednesday, June 10 (rain date: June 15).
Children from all grade levels, as well as staff and families, will be escorted by local police and firefighters as they parade 1.2 miles carrying new donated backpacks filled with school supplies.
Students will leave Morley School, 77 Bretton Road, at about 9 a.m. and will arrive at Town Hall, 50 South Main Street, at about 9:30-9:40 a.m. The students will file into the Auditorium with backpacks and school supplies for a short ceremony. The event will conclude around 10:10 am.
