WEST HARTFORD, CT — An “act of anti-Semitism” was investigated at Hall High School in West Hartford on Tuesday, according to multiple reports, including the Hartford Courant. Parents were notified of the incident in a letter and school officials say it was handled in accordance with the student code of conduct, the Courant reports.
We-Ha.com reports a swastika that had been formed out of small colored balls was found on a desk while students were working on a chemistry project. Another incident occurred later in the day to a friend of the student who was targeted in the original incident.
The students who were targeted are now working, along with the administration and other students, on a program to raise awareness and acceptance to the Hall community, according to We-Ha.com.
