West Hartford Art League to Host Major Gala Benefit This Week
The annual 'Spring Into Art Gala' will take place on May 21 with cocktails, live painting, and art program support.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Art League will host its annual “Spring Into Art Gala" on Thursday, May 21, from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Clubhouse Gallery, 37 Buena Vista Road, West Hartford.
Organizers said the fundraiser will celebrate local arts and culture while supporting the league’s exhibitions, educational programming and community outreach initiatives.
Tickets are $75 per person.

The evening will feature heavy hors d’oeuvres, spring-themed cocktails, live painting and entertainment, with catering provided by Russell Global Cuisine.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to purchase live watercolor portrait sessions by artist Antony Zito during the event.

Zito will create one-color watercolor portraits on 11-by-15-inch paper from live sittings in about seven minutes.
Single portraits are available for an additional $50, while double portraits cost $100.
According to the West Hartford Art League, proceeds from the gala will help fund programs that serve artists and audiences of varying ages and backgrounds throughout the community.
