Aquatics Center Burglarized In West Hartford: Police

Police say the front door and several other windows at the center had been smashed.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Police are investigating after the Cornerstone Aquatics Center in West Hartford was burglarized late Monday night. Police responded to the center, located at 55 Buena Vista Rd., at about 11:50 p.m. on May 20, after a maintenance worker found that the front door had been smashed with a rock.

Arriving officers found that several other windows had also been smashed and that the suspect(s) had entered the Aquatics Center, according to police.

Police said the suspect(s) had attempted to pry open a register drawer but was unsuccessful. Nothing had been reported stolen in the burglary as of Tuesday afternoon, according to police.
