Armed Robbery Suspect Sought By West Hartford Police

Police say the suspect should be considered 'armed and dangerous.'

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Police Department has obtained an arrest warrant for Luis Rodriguez, 44, for the armed robbery of the Sam’s Food Store, located at 1149 New Britain Avenue, on Aug. 6.

Police issued a "wanted" flier for Rodriguez on Monday afternoon and are telling residents not to approach Rodriguez as he should be considered “armed and dangerous.” (To sign up for West Hartford breaking news alerts and more, click here.)

Anyone with information on Rodriguez’s whereabouts is asked to contact the West Hartford Police Department at 860-523-5203. All tips will remain confidential, police said.
