Black Rat Snakes Removed From West Hartford Homes
One home reportedly contained three snakes, while two other homeowners reported having reptiles in their houses.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Three West Hartford homeowners received unexpected surprises this week: black rat snakes inside their houses.
WFSB-TV reported three of the reptiles were spotted in a garage on Westmont Street, while two other houses also contained snakes. One of the snakes was said to be 7 feet long.
A similar situation took place in Farmington last month, when a large rat snake was caught on video pulling itself onto a second-story roof, then entering an attic through the roof.
