Body of Missing West Hartford Man Found in Plainville
The Silver Alert that was issued for the man was canceled on Friday morning.
The body of a 42-year-old West Hartford man who was reported missing on Wednesday was found near a hiking trail in Plainville on Thursday, according to NBC Connecticut.
NBC reports that Robert Raymond died of blunt trauma injuries consistent with a fall.
Police had canceled the Silver Alert for Raymond on Friday morning.

Raymond walked out of his group home in West Hartford on April 8 and was reported missing that night, according to NBC.
WFSB 3 reports that an autopsy performed on Friday revealed that Raymond died of blunt trauma and the manner of death is “undermined” and police are continuing to investigate the circumstances of his death.
