Lace up for one of the most family-friendly race events in Connecticut! The Celebrate! West Hartford FUNd RUNS feature a scenic, USATF-certified 5K course winding through downtown and the picturesque Trout Brook Trail, plus a non-competitive Kids’ K dash around Blue Back Square for ages 3–10. Held during the Town’s two-day festival, the runs are a perfect way for individuals and families to get active while enjoying the energy of the community celebration.
More than just a group run around Town, the FUNd RUNS support a powerful mission—a portion of proceeds goes to The Town That Cares and the Leisure Services Scholarship Fund, which provides access to summer camps, swimming lessons, and other enriching programs for children from low-income families. By running, you're helping your neighbors thrive.
For the competitors among us, the Celebrate! West Hartford 5K is known for giving great prizes. Rewards worth $100+ are given to the top male and female overall and West Hartford finishers, and there are 66 other divisional prizes to be claimed including Goodr OG sunglasses and gift cards from Fleet Feet, AC Petersen's, the Claypen, Jerry's Artarama, Nothing Bundt Cakes and more. Every registered runner can enter the raffle drawing for passes to Ski Sundown, Yard Goats tickets and other fun activities.
