Cat Found Tied To Dumpster In West Hartford
The animal control is asking for help with locating the cat's owner.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Animal Control is asking for the public’s assistance with locating the owner of a cat that was found tied to a dumpster over the weekend. The pictured domestic short-haired cat was found tied to a dumpster in Wolcott Park in West Hartford on Feb. 4, according to the animal control.
A note that was left behind said the cat’s name was “Sparky.” Animal control officials say someone saw a man in a pick-up truck in the area of the dumpster.
“Unfortunately, they did not get a plate,” the animal control wrote in a post on Facebook. “We are looking for any information on who the owner may be. In the meantime, Sparky is warm and safe.”
