Conard High School Swimmer Experiences Success at Class LL Championships
A Chieftain had a pair of top eight placements at the class meet at Southern Connecticut State University.

NEW HAVEN, CT — For the seventh straight year, Greenwich High School dominated the pool at the CIAC Class LL girls swimming championships Wednesday at Southern Connecticut State University.
The Cardinals compiled 854 points to far outdistance runnerup Ridgefield, which had 570.5.
Since 1980, Greenwich has captured 26 class titles and 16 State Open championships.

Conard High School placed ninth out of 20 teams, collecting 263.5 points. Kate Bell was the lone Chieftain to place in the top eight, finishing fourth in both the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle.
