ConnectiCare Donates $18K To Mandell JCC

The donation was made in collaboration with the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) tax credit program.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — ConnectiCare recently presented an $18,000 donation to the Mandell JCC in collaboration with the Connecticut Neighborhood Assistance Act (NAA) tax credit program.

The Connecticut NAA program provides tax credits to local businesses who support municipal and tax-exempt organizations. These donations fund specific initiatives at each organization, from energy conservation projects to neighborhood assistance and community services. Through the NAA program, ConnectiCare has been able to donate to 26 of their neighboring non-profits.

“We recognize that each of these organizations give our members outlets to be creative, active and involved in the world around them,” said Kim Kann, director of public relations and corporate communications at ConnectiCare. “They help create healthier and happier communities for all of our neighbors. That’s why we’re proud to be part of this program and support these vital organizations.”
