Decision Reached on School in West Hartford on Friday

West Hartford Public Schools will be closed Friday.

A fast-moving somewhat of a surprise snowstorm was expected to dump between 3-6 inches of snow on the area before it tapers off late Friday morning and early afternoon.

The heavy wet snow is forecast to be at its worst from about 5 a.m. to 8 a.m.

During the day temps will warm up into the upper 30s. All eyes are focused on the potential next storm, a Nor’easter that may arrive late Monday and into Tuesday.
