Women for Change, The Women's Education and Leadership Fund and Connections Wellness Center at the University of Hartford bring Project Unbreakable to campus (Dana Hall, room Mali 1). Project Unbreakable, started by Grace Brown, is an art project aimed at healing those affected by rape and sexual assault. Photographs are taken of survivors with a quote from their attacker.
Grace has photographed about three hundred people and has received over a thousand submissions. TIME magazine has also named it one of the top 30 Tumblr blogs to follow. Her project is a way to spread awareness and has also been seen as a healing project for sexual assault survivors (www.project-unbreakable.org).
