Your Family is Invited to Meet Our Family! Beth El Temple Offers Many Programs Open to the Community
(West Hartford, CT) - Do you want to find shelter from the ordinary to think about “the real stuff” of living? Do you want to feel real ways of celebrating and holding onto the joy? Dress your children (up to age 5) in their pajamas and bring them to synagogue on Friday night August 19th (5:45 to 6:30 pm) for PJ Shabbat: stories, songs and a Torah parade led by Rabbi Garber. A child friendly dinner for kids and oneg Shabbat for parents follows. This program is free but reservations are recommended. Please call 860-233-9891 for more information. On August 30th all prospective families are invited to the Back to Beth El Carnival! From 5:30 to 7:00 pm families will delight in inflatables for all ages, a balloon artist, hamburgers and hotdogs, drinks, desserts, cotton candy and popcorn. Admission is free for all!
