Firefighter Injured Battling Blaze In West Hartford: UPDATE
A home sustained significant damage in a fire on Monday night.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A firefighter sustained minor injuries while battling a fire on Fox Meadow Lane on Monday night, fire officials said in an update on Tuesday. The home was significantly damaged in the fire.
“Members of Group 2 handled an evening fire on Fox Meadow,” the West Hartford-IAFF Local 1241 union wrote in a post on Facebook. “Quint 4, Engines 2, 1, 5 and Battalion were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. Upon arrival crews found a well-involved house fire. Lines were stretched producing a quick knock down. One FF sustained minor injuries.
“A big thank you goes to the 911 dispatchers behind the scenes in ERC and AMR for providing EMS standby.”
