The First FrightVision Writing Contest For Kids 8-12
Here's your chance to create the next FrightVision short story and get it published!
We’re looking for a spooky short story written by YOU to be featured at the end of the next FrightVision book—Broken Hearts!
For the first time, FrightVision is changing how they publish their books. Typically, at the end of each middle grade novel, there is a preview of the next book in the series. But not this time! FrightVision is changing it up and wants to feature a “FrightVision Short” written by a kid (8-12 years old) at the end of the eighth book in the series, Broken Hearts!
The winning story from the contest will get published in the back of the next book in the FrightVision series AND receive a set of the first 8 books in the FrightVision series AND be featured on the FrightVision blog AND get a $50 Amazon Gift Card (which hopefully you’ll use to further your writing)! There are prizes for second and third place as well! Find more on our website (www.frightvisionbooks.com).

What is FrightVision looking for in a story? Much like the stories that Culliver Crantz—the creator of FrightVision—has created with elementary students in brainstorming sessions at schools, he is looking for fun, spooky, twist filled stories that keep him wanting more!
To enter: 1) Kids must be 8-12 years old and live in the United States. 2) Stories should be 1,000 words or less. 3) For rules and to submit your story, go to the FrightVision website: www.frightvisionbooks.com.
