Fluid Spill In West Hartford Cleaned Up, Road Back To Normal: UPDATE
Parts of the roadway had been closed and motorists were urged to avoid the area.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A fluid spill on a busy roadway in West Hartford had lanes closed and motorists were urged to avoid the area Tuesday morning, but it is now cleared.
At 8:25 a.m., the West Hartford Police Department said the spill was on New Britain Avenue from Cambridge Street to New Park Avenue in the east travel lane.
In addition, police said, the left turn lane from New Britain onto New Park had been shut down.

"Please use caution if traveling through the area, seek alternate routes if possible," wrote the WHPD.
Later in the morning, however, police said the situation was cleared and the roadway resumed normal operatoins.
