- Beans/lentils : The mix of fiber, complex carbs, protein, and magnesium helps with appetite suppression, fat loss and increased metabolic rate due to increased caloric needs for digestion of the beans
- Nuts: The fiber, protein, and healthy fats all have been shown to help lose belly fat
- Lean protein: Turkey, chicken, fish, lean red meats
- Oat meal/brown rice: fiber, complex carbs, zinc,selenium, thiamin, phosphorous, Vitamin E, and copper all needed for fat metabolism.
