High School Teacher Dies from Injuries Sustained in West Hartford Car Crash
Police had previously said the victim was jogging in West Hartford when he was hit by a car. BREAKING

WEST HARTFORD, CT - A high school teacher who sustained injuries after being hit by a car while jogging in West Hartford last week has died.
Police said RHAM High School physics teacher Andrej Cavarkapa, 30, of West Hartford died Tuesday from injuries received in an accident on January 25, according to a release. The victim died at St. Francis Hospital, where he was being treated.
The accident is still under investigation by the West Hartford Police Department. Officials said there is no further information to be released at this time.

Police had previously said Cavarkapa was jogging west on Asylum Avenue before the incident occurred near the Trout Brook Drive intersection.
The driver of the car, 19-year old Khang Nguyen of South Windsor, was not injured.
