How Many Rheumatic Diseases Are There?
Free program at Duncaster on March 15 on diet, exercise and management of Rheumatic disease

The third and final event of Duncaster’s free three–part program on arthritis will be held on Thursday, March 15 at 3 p.m. These discussions are part of Duncaster’s monthly series, “The Art and Science of Graceful Aging.” This program will take place on Duncaster’s campus, located at 40 Loeffler Road. The event is open to the public, however pre-registration is required.
This third session will provide insight about diet, exercise and management of Rheumatic disease from Hartford Hospital’s Internal Medicine Specialist, Tejas Sheth MD. People of all ages, sexes and races are affected by Rheumatic disease, although women are most commonly impacted. Rheumatic disease is not a single disorder as it includes 200 different diseases. If the diseases are not treated properly, it could cause both sick leave and premature retirement.
Dr. Sheth has over 11 years of diverse experience, especially in Rheumatology. He received his medical degree from N.H.L. Municipal Medical College and is affiliated with several hospitals throughout Connecticut.
