Update: I-84 Crash In West Hartford Cleared

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Interstate 84 in West Hartford had traffic backed up following a one-vehicle accident that closed two lanes Wednesday afternoon, but it has now been cleared.

According to the state Department of Transportation, the crash was between exits 41 and 43 in the eastbound lane.

At 3:19 p.m. Wednesday, the DOT reported the crash was cleared near Exit 41, which is the highway's junction with Route 173.

DOT officials said the left and center lanes were closed.
