Update: Jackknifed TT Crash Cleared
DOT: Two lanes were closed on I-84, traffic backed up 4.5 miles.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — A jackknifed tractor trailer that caused a traffic mess on Interstate 84 in West Hartford Wednesday morning has now been cleared, according to the state Department of Transportation.
According to the DOT's Twitter feed, the crash was cleared at about 9:32 a.m. Wednesday.
The DOT said the crash happened at about 7:07 a.m. on I-84 east near Exit 41, which is the intersection with Route 173.

The situation caused a 4.5-mile traffic backup and the left and center lanes were closed, the DOT said.
