Kingswood Oxford to Host Athletics Open House on Dec. 3, 6pm
Student-athletes will have the opportunity to meet individually with the coaches and players of KO's 24 different Varsity teams

On the heels of a remarkably successful fall sports season, KO is hosting an Athletics Open House for prospective students on Thursday, Dec. 3, from 6-7:30pm. Call 860-727-5000 to register.
Hosted by the Admissions and Athletics offices, the evening will give student-athletes the chance to meet individually with the coaches and players of KO’s 24 different Varsity teams. It will begin at 6pm in Roberts Theater, when Athletic Director Debbie Fiske and Sharon Gaskin, the Director of Enrollment Management, will offer an overview of KO athletics and the importance of the athletics requirement to KO’s educational program.
Sports-specific presentations and coach meetings will follow in classrooms in the Chase * Tallwood building.

Some of the highlights of the Wyverns’ just-completed fall season include:
- The Varsity Football team three-peated as co-champion in the Fairchester League and also won the Mike Atkins New England Championship Bowl -- the first Bowl win in school history
- Duke-commit Koby Quansah ‘16 was named to the Semper Fidelis All-American football team
- For the second year in a row, the Varsity Girls’ Soccer team -- which went 10-1-4 this year -- qualified for postseason play
- Head Varsity Girls’ Coach Tracy Deeter was inducted into the Athletic Hall of Fame at Eastern Michigan University
- Two girls were named Field Hockey All-Stars
- Holden White ‘16 signed a National Letter of Intent to play baseball at Wake Forest University.
Families who cannot attend the Athletics Open House but wish to learn more about sports at KO or the school in general are invited to contact the Admissions Office for a tour and interview.

Only those applications received by Feb. 1, 2016, will be considered for merit scholarships, for which financial need is not a prerequisite.
