Kitten Rescued From Storm Drain In West Hartford

Firefighters rescued the kitten over the weekend.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — West Hartford firefighters rescued a kitten from a storm drain on Saturday evening. Members from Quint 3 responded and rescued the kitten on Hillcrest Avenue in the Elmwood section of town, according to the Professional Fire Fighters of West Hartford-IAFF Local 1241 on Facebook.

Pictured is Firefighter/Paramedic Rocco Laudato emerging from the storm drain with the kitten. It's unknown how long the kitten was in the storm drain before it was rescued, according to fire officials.
