Want A New Job? Today's West Hartford Job Fair A Start

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Town of West Hartford and the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce are hosting the third annual Job & Resource Fair today (Tuesday, May 23).

It will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. at Elmwood Community Center, 1106 New Britain Ave. (Access facility via Burgoyne Street.)

“Our past community Job & Resource Fairs were big successes for both employers and job seekers,” said Kristen Gorski, economic development coordinator for the Town of West Hartford. “Businesses have been pleased to have more than 150 job seekers to interface with over the course of the event, and have had great success finding matches to fill their openings.”

“This event represents the town and chamber’s commitment to matching qualified job seekers with opportunities at local businesses and organizations right in our community. In addition, several employment resource partners will be on hand to assist businesses in creating pipelines for hiring needs,” said Christopher Conway, president and chief executive officer of the West Hartford Chamber of Commerce.
