Learn About The Perils Of Climate Change At West Hartford Forum
The free West Hartford event on climate science and local action will be at West Hartford Town Hall, with a livestream available as well.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — The Sustainable West Hartford Commission will host a public talk on climate change at West Hartford Town Hall on Wednesday, March 25.
The free forum will offer residents an overview of current science and practical steps for action at both the individual and municipal levels.
The event, titled “Climate Change: Where We Are & What We Can Do,” will feature Dr. Charles E. Button, a professor of geography and sustainability at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.

The presentation is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. in Room 400 at West Hartford Town Hall, which is located at 50 S. Main St.
According to the commission, the talk will cover the current scientific understanding of climate change, actions individuals can take to reduce their environmental impact, and strategies municipalities can adopt to strengthen climate resilience.

The event is free and open to the public. While registration is encouraged, it is not required.
