Magic is coming to West Hartford

Professional magician and Wallingford, Ct native, Kayla Drescher, is bringing her professional stage show to West Hartford for one exclusive performance on February 25th at 2:00pm at Sedgwick Middle School Auditorium.

Drescher, who graduated from Sheehan High School in 2008, offers family-friendly shows that are “a whole mess of fun,” featuring audience participation, comedy and storytelling.

The Wallingford native now lives in Los Angeles. Performing magic for Penn& Teller, Comedy Central, Make a Wish, Today Show, corporations and colleges. She is currently wrapping up her Champions of Magic tour with fellow world acclaimed magicians!

Drescher’s interest in magic began at age 7, when she visited a magic shop with her father and magic just clicked.Always hoping to learn more about the art of magic, Kayla enrolled in

magic classes and attended magic camp. She later went to college to
study environmental science & green energy .

After graduating Wheelock College in 2012 her led her to Las Vegas after winning David Cooperfield’s Search for the Next Great Magician on the Today show, then ultimately to L.A.

Being a woman in the field of Magic has been a challenge but setting a great example to pursue your dreams.

Kayla's creativity and communication skills have made her story based magic extremely compelling to audiences of diverse backgrounds and age groups. As she discovered years ago, magic is not about tricks or fooling people, but about connecting with people and altering their perceptions on life in an entertaining way.
