Man Critically Injured in Sword Fight with Wife at West Hartford Hookah Lounge Undergoes More Surgery
The wife was released from the hospital on Thursday.

The man critically injured in a sword fight with his wife earlier this week at a West Hartford hookah lounge he owns underwent a second round of surgery on Thursday, according to the Hartford Courant.
The Courant reports that the condition of George Ayoub, 47, has been upgraded from critical to stable. Ayoub suffered a serious abdominal injury in the incident.
His wife, 24-year-old Najeh Frehi, was released from the hospital on Thursday after being treated for cuts to her hands and stab wounds to her shoulders, according to the Courant.

Police are continuing to investigate the double stabbing incident that occurred at the Arabian Nights hookah lounge early Wednesday morning. Police received a 911 call from Ayoub around 3 a.m.
Police recovered a large sword at the scene.
