Man Pulls Gun Out After Pick-Up Hoops Game: West Hartford PD
The West Hartford Police Department is looking for a person in connection with a gun incident at a local middle school Wednesday night.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Local police are investigating an incident Wednesday in which a disturbance at a pick-up basketball game at a local school evolved into one person pulling a gun on another.
As a result, the West Hartford Police Department’s Detective Division is attempting to identify the individual in some photographs it posted Thursday afternoon.
In addition, police are looking to identify a vehicle seen operating to and from the scene, theve car being a 2006 – 2012 model year Lincoln MKZ.

Police said the incident started at an “open-gym” session for adult individuals to play basketball at Sedgwick Middle School in West Hartford.
"After the completion of a pickup basketball game within the gym, a disturbance evolved into a physical fight and ended up with one individual pulling out what was reported to be a firearm," wrote the WHPD in a statement.

"At this point, all individuals dispersed from the gym and the suspect is seen running to his vehicle, entering it and leaving the school’s property at approximately (9:21 p.m.)," police said.
In the alert, police said the individual pictured is only wanted for questioning, but they urged people to exercise caution as the weapon is still at large.
