The grant from the Joy in Childhood will support the iCan Bike Program, which helps children with physical and cognitive challenges.

From The Miracle League of CT: The Miracle League of CT today announced that it has received a $16,900 grant from the Joy in Childhood Foundation, which is committed to providing moments of joy to sick and hungry kids. The grant from the Joy in Childhood Foundation will support the iCan Bike Program, which helps children with physical and cognitive challenges become independent riders of two wheel bicycles.
“We are proud to be a part of the Joy in Childhood Foundation’s mission to provide joy to kids by providing the resources they need in their daily lives,” said Mike Michaud, Executive Director of The Miracle League of CT. “This grant will enable us to further our own mission to provide recreational, educational, and cultural opportunities for children with physical and cognitive challenges from all over the state.”
“The Joy in Childhood Foundation is proud to support local organizations such as The Miracle League of CT that share our commitment to bringing joy to kids and to helping them experience more moments of joy while living with challenges, even on the most difficult days,” said Karen Raskopf, Co-Chair of the Joy in Childhood Foundation.
