Multiple Bobcats Spotted In West Hartford Driveway [VIDEO]
The video as seen in the Neighbors app shows not one, but two bobcats unexpectedly visiting a local home.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A pair of bobcats were captured on a Ring Neighbors app making themselves at home in West Hartford Wednesday, walking up and down a driveway and going back and forth between the front and back yards.
The homeowner posted the animals "hung around for over half an hour," exploring the property. In the video below, taken around 6:30 p.m., one is near the garage while the other is barely visible in the light near the end of the driveway.
According to the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP), "bobcats are most active just after dusk and before dawn. Secretive, solitary, and seldom observed, they tend to hunt and travel in areas of thick cover, relying on their keen eyesight and hearing for locating prey. Bobcats are patient hunters, meaning they spend much of their time either sitting or crouching, watching and listening. Once prey is located, a bobcat will stalk within range and ambush its quarry."

The DEEP also states, "Bobcat attacks on people are extremely rare. Bobcats are not a significant vector of disease and rarely contract the mid-Atlantic strain of rabies."
