New Officers Join West Hartford Police Department
The West Hartford Police Department welcomed two new officers to the force this week.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — The West Hartford Police Department welcomed two new officers to the force this week. Kylee F. Lecchi and Kyle Guisto are both currently attending the Hartford Police Academy. Read more from the West Hartford Police Department below:
Kylee F. Lecchi (pictured at left) badge #410 graduated from Watertown High School in 2011. During his four years at Watertown High School, Kylee ran track and field and was the captain of his soccer team. Kylee attended Central Connecticut State University and in 2015, Mr. Lecchi graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Criminology with a minor in Psychology. Mr. Lecchi was previously a fulltime Loss Prevention Detective for Macy’s at their West Farms Mall location.
Kyle Guisto badge #411 was born in Waterbury and moved to the Thomaston home he currently still lives in. He is a graduate of Thomaston High School where he was a three sport athlete. After graduating, Kyle joined the USMC and was deployed to the eastern Balkans where he was involved in the training of foreign military. He was honorably discharged from active duty in the summer of 2017.
