New WeHa Pole Banners Highlight Town's Character

Under the theme of 'The Wonder of West Hartford,' the light pole banners will be up for the next few months.

WEST HARTFORD, CT — A drive or walk around town will reveal some new, eye-catching artwork on display for the public to see.

Thanks to the West Hartford Municipal Parking Office and the West Hartford Public Library, the town has a whole new set of light pole banners called, “The Wonder of West Hartford.”

These rectangular pieces of municipal artwork were created by the community itself, according to town officials.

"The banners feature artwork created by library patrons highlighting the town's unique character," wrote the Town of West Hartford.

The collection also features librarians with their favorite books and they will be seen for the next few months, into 2024.
