West Hartford – Northwest Catholic student Daniel Keating ’15, son of Daniel and Sue Keating of West Hartford, recently completed the Youth Leadership Conference at Norwich University in Northfield, VT. The two-day event was sponsored by Norwich University and the Military Order of World Wars (MOWW), an organization for retired military officers.
Topics covered during the program included leadership, effective communication, the Constitution, the Bill of Rights, free enterprise, cyber security, ethics and what it means to be a citizen soldier. To attend, participants must have a 2.5 GPA or above and write a 500 word essay titled “The Bill of Rights and My Responsibilities.”
