Owner Announces Selling of Pfau's Hardware in West Hartford
The store will open under new ownership on Tuesday.

Pfau’s Hardware in West Hartford will close on Monday and reopen under new ownership Tuesday after current owner Debra Hunter made the difficult decision to sell the business that her late husband loved.
Hunter told the Hartford Courant that she promised her customers that the store wouldn’t close and it would remain a hardware store and she’s keeping that promise by selling it to the owners of Larsen Ace Hardware in Canton.
Russell Hunter, Debra’s husband, died from cancer in October. He was 59.
