Park Road Neighborhood Comes Together To Support Toys For Tots
Several businesses on Park Road have joined efforts with WDRC's Talk of Connecticut to collect toys for the Toys for Tots drive.
WEST HARTFORD, CT — Several businesses on Park Road have joined efforts with WDRC’s Talk of Connecticut to collect toys for the Toys for Tots drive. New, unwrapped toys can be dropped at any of the 15 drop off locations between now and Dec. 21 or during the live broadcast on Friday, Dec. 22, according to a press release.
Park Road drop off locations include: A Strand Ahead, AC Petersen Farms Restaurant, Anthony Nicole Salon & Spa, Body + Sole Spa Therapies, Budget Printers & Embroiderers (Park St), Cricket Press, Effie’s Place Family Restaurant, Farmer’s Insurance (Whiting Lane), Joey’s Pizza Pie, Park & Oak Restaurant, Park Lane Pizza, Park Tavern, Plan B, Playhouse on Park, ShopRite (Kane St).
Brad Davis will bring his Talk of Connecticut show to Effie’s Place Restaurant for a live broadcast on Friday, Dec. 22 from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m. This will serve as the final drop off date and location for the Toys for Tots Drive. Cash donations are also accepted. Checks must be made payable to “Toys for Tots.”
